“Still Standing” is the newest CD from Blackberry Winter Band soon to be released. A compilation of 15 songs featuring many new originals from Marideth and two from Tedi May. The down-home style of the band is sprinkled with several of a different fare sure to pique your interest. We’ll let you know as soon as it is available.
Come join us this Sunday afternoon (February 10, 2013) at the Yellow House in West Plains from 1:00 – 4:30 for lots of fun, music and food. This is our chance to help keep our Community Radio Station KZ88 (88.1 FM) on the air. They are struggling and need us to step up and help them raise the money to keep the programs we are all enjoying going and update equipment. I’ll be singing and playing with CD, Gordon, Van and Marideth. Won’t you do your part?
Whew! It is finally done and on the way. My first solo CD, Songbird will be delivered beginning of December. Quite a journey it has been from the idea of laying down 5 tracks on Garage Band on my computer in March to recording 13 tracks in Rideout’s Hideout Recording Studio. I have learned so much about myself, my voice, the recording process. Patience and persistence are the words for the day – you need a lot of both. But I think most important is to remember to have fun and enjoy the process. I am truly grateful to have had the opportunity.
